NBA 2K24 has begun revealing some of their player ratings, which means it's officially time for the debates. Giving Nikola Jokic a 98 overall, which is the highest rating in the game, 2K rewarded the Finals MVP for his historic run. While Jokic got the game's top rating, his co-star Jamal Murray did not get the same respect, and was rated just 88 overall.

While an 88 isn't bad, it does put Murray behind other point guards that he outperformed this past postseason. Upon seeing his rating, Murray fired off this Tweet at 2K:

Murray has always been one of the tougher players to rank, because while his career numbers and accolades aren't on the level of other star point guards, his playoff resume is better than most of them. It's unclear exactly what 2K values most when coming up with their ratings, but it would make sense for Murray to get some more love for performing the way he did on the NBA's biggest stage.

It's important to mention that 2K updates their player ratings throughout the year, so if Murray keeps up his play from the postseason, he will certainly have an opportunity to get upgrades. As for right now, the Nuggets star wants the popular video game to fix his jumper if they're going to be disrespecting his rating.
