Nikola Jokic was dominant in Game 2 vs. the Phoenix Suns, and received high praise from his co-star Jamal Murray after the game.

"I mean, 39 and 16, five dimes, while everybody else is struggling," Murray said of Jokic. "Man, no hesitation from him. Just dominating down low and from three, both ways. Staying aggressive all game, uplifting us during timeouts, just full belief in us the whole time while he's taking over and picking up everybody's slack. I mean, tonight was a perfect example of a two-time, potentially three-time MVP."

Murray struggled in this game, and spoke on his own performance after the game, saying, "If I go look at the film, most of the shots were open. They just didn’t drop tonight. 0-9 from three. I've just got to make a shot. It wasn’t anything they did... I don't think I've ever shot like that before."

Murray continued, saying he knows he can shoot the ball, and will now recenter his focus on watching film, eating some good food, and getting some rest before heading to Phoenix for Games 3 and 4.

While Jokic was dominant, the Nuggets being able to win a game where Murray struggled like that is an encouraging sign. They will look to take this performance on the road for Games 3 and 4, as they know the Phoenix crowd will be looking to help lift the Suns to victory in those games. With Jokic playing like an MVP, and Murray bound to bounce back, the Nuggets are in a good spot.
