Luka Doncic's Status vs Nuggets Revealed
Luka Doncic has been an absolute monster this season. In only four games, Luka has been the best scorer in the NBA. Now, it looks like the Nuggets will have to deal with this problem.
The Dallas Mavericks have officially listed Luka Doncic as available for the game against the Denver Nuggets tonight. Not only is Luka available, but Kyrie Irving also is as well.
This season, Luka Doncic is averaging 33.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.3 steals on 51/42/72. Simply put, Luka is putting up MVP numbers right now, and his team is first in the Western Conference to show it. Doncic has never won an MVP before, and tonight, he gets to go against one.
In 15 career games against the Denver Nuggets, Luka Doncic has averaged 25.5 points, 10.4 assists, and 7.9 rebounds. He did this while shooting 43/28/73 - scoring against the Nuggets hasn't come easy for Denver.
On the other side of the coin, Nikola Jokic has averaged 18.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 25 games against the Dallas Mavericks. Compared to other teams Jokic has gone against, the numbers he's put up against the Dallas Mavericks are a bit on the lower side. Last season, the season series series was also split 2-2.
Tonight's matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets should be an incredibly fun one, with all of the key players available. The two teams face off at 10:00 p.m. EST.
