Even after winning NBA Finals MVP, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is still talked about in strange ways by certain analysts and former players. During a recent interview, NBA legend Gilbert Arenas shared a take about Jokic, saying nobody in the NBA fears him.

"Like Jokic - no one is fearing Jokic," Arenas said. "Most of his sh-t is, 'I'm going to rebound, going throw a little assist, and have 20-something points.' No one is afraid of 20-something points... Embiid is more feared than Jokic. But who is more deadlier? [Giannis Antetokounmpo] is more feared than Jokic, but who is gonna kill you the worst?"

The entire conversation was about the most feared players in the NBA, but the argument from Arenas could have been made in a way that didn't suggest Jokic is not feared at all. Arenas seemed to be saying that Jokic may be more deadly than other players, but he isn't as feared because of how he goes about his game. Arenas attempted to make a similar argument about LeBron James, saying he is also dominant, but not feared the way others in his tier are.

If Arenas was trying to make a point about the difference between Jokic and others stars, he could have done so without saying no one fears Jokic, because that is certainly not the case.
