Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards received a lot of attention for his approach to NBA All-Star Weekend. Shooting left-handed in the skills competition, Edwards was clearly uninterested in trying to win that event, and he had a similar approach to the game itself.

When asked about this, Edwards said, "For me, it's an All-Star Game, so I don't think I will ever look at it like being super competitive. It's always fun. I don't know what they can do to make it more competitive. I don't know. I think everyone looks at it - It's a break. So I don't think nobody wants to come here and compete."

As previously mentioned, this approach generated a lot of discussion, including from NBA and Denver Nuggets legend Carmelo Anthony, who addressed it on his 7PM in Brooklyn podcast.

"We talk about the greatness gene a lot, and he got it," Anthony said of Edwards. "He has the greatness gene. It's going to go as far as he wants it to go. We talk about how prestige it is to be in that All-Star game... It was disrespectful. Shoot the left hand... don't do it. Don't perform in it if that's what you're gonna do. Adidas should have been like, 'You are fu--ing bugging.' Those conversations need to be had. Shooting lefty and this is All-Star Saturday Night?"

Feeling strongly about Edwards' approach to All-Star Weekend, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony called him out.
