Heading back to the locker room in the first half of Friday night's game between the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings, reigning Finals MVP Nikola Jokic gave fans a bit of an injury scare. Having dealt with back pain at times recently, Jokic was not listed on the injury report for this game, but is seemingly having his back monitored by the team each game.

Despite this brief scare, the latest injury update on Jokic is a good one, as he was able to return to the game after a short time in the locker room. An additional update will likely come from Nuggets head coach Michael Malone after the game, but as long as Jokic is able to finish this one without any issues, it seems there is no real reason for concern.

Always durable, Jokic rarely misses games, even if he is not 100% healthy. This is one of the reasons the Nuggets have been so good for so long, as their best player is almost always on the floor. This is not a luxury that every team has, but it's one Denver is certainly thankful for.

Playing through some back discomfort, Jokic might not be 100% every night, but he has still been finding ways to dominate the game. This latest injury scare seems to be nothing serious, as Jokic has returned to the game.
