With 36 points, 21 rebounds, and 11 assists vs. the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to put up that line or better in a game. Chamberlain achieved that line or better on six different occasions, with the last coming in 1968.

The only other players in NBA history to achieve the line Jokic posted vs. the Rockets are Oscar Robertson and Elgin Baylor. Jokic and Chamberlain are the only two players to ever post that line in a loss, as the Nuggets fell to the Rockets on Sunday.

Through 10 games, Jokic is averaging 29.8 PPG, 13.7 RPG, and 8.3 APG on 60.6% from the field. If these averages were to hold, Jokic would became the first player in NBA history to achieve them. Even if the criteria was lowered to 25/10/5 on that efficiency, Jokic would still be the first player in NBA history to post those averages on at least 60% from the field.

There are so many ways to statistically measure the greatness of Nikola Jokic, and comparing his numbers to the rest of NBA history is one of the best ways to do so. Consistently doing things that have either never been done before, or have only been done by Wilt Chamberlain and a few others, Jokic is on another level.
