There is really no way to stop Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, but that's the challenge every Western Conference team must be ready to address if they want to take down the defending champions. There have been several different defenses thrown at Jokic since his rise to superstardom, and during a recent episode of Michael Porter Jr.'s Curious Mike podcast, the reigning Finals MVP revealed which matchup has been the toughest for him.

"I think - that was the bubble, right? When [the Lakers] had three or four bigs," Jokic said. "They had [Anthony Davis], [JaVale McGee]. Like what Minnesota did with [Karl Anthony-Towns] and [Rudy Gobert]. I think those kind of situations - but I think my game, or my style is so, like I don't need just post-ups. I can play pick and roll, I can set pick and rolls, I can come off of screens, I can just play in open area. I think it's not just one thing that I'm doing on the floor."

That Western Conference Finals matchup between Denver and LA in the bubble was an intriguing one, because while the Lakers had a talent advantage over the Nuggets at that time, they also had several bigs to throw at Jokic. This is something Jokic mentioned when asked by Porter about his toughest matchup, citing the size LA was able to deploy in that series.
