The Denver Nuggets lost to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, but Nikola Jokic turned in another historic performance. With 36 points, 14 assists, and 13 rebounds, Jokic recorded his 15th career 35-point triple-double (playoffs included), which passes Wilt Chamberlain for the 6th most in NBA history, per Basketball Reference's StatHead.

Jokic making this history in a loss is of course frustrating for Denver, as they were unable to capitalize on his monster performance, but they are again shorthanded due to Jamal Murray's ankle injury. Murray tweaked his ankle in his first game back from his hamstring injury, which the star point guard was understandably frustrated about.

While Murray was again held out of this game, it doesn't seem that this ankle injury should keep him out too much longer, as he was again listed as questionable on the initial injury report vs. Sacramento.

For Jokic, games like these are starting to become normal, as it seems it's almost every night he is putting up a historic stat line. Passing Wilt Chamberlain on any list is impressive, and Jokic has done it on several lists for both the regular season, postseason, and both combined.

As great as Jokic was in this game, it was not enough for Denver to overcome a solid team effort from the Kings, which included contributions from up and down their lineup.
