The Denver Nuggets faced the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night in a battle between two of the best teams in the NBA. Reigning Finals MVP Nikola Jokic finished with 25 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks to help lead Denver to victory.

Jokic became just the fourth player in NBA history to post this line or better in a game, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, and Jimmy Butler, per Basketball Reference's StatHead. This was not the only history Jokic made with this performance, as his 85th career 20-point triple-double tied Magic Johnson for the 5th most such games in NBA history, also per StatHead.

Turning in historic performances on seemingly a nightly basis, this is nothing new for Jokic. In fact, his line on Monday night is not too far off from his season averages of 26.3 PPG, 12.1 RPG, and 9.0 APG. Jokic did not shoot as efficiently from the field in this game as he usually does, but Milwaukee has a very solid interior defense, and Jokic did enough to get his own while also finding his teammates.

This was a solid win for the Nuggets, who are trying to hold off the LA Clippers in the standings while also trying to chase down the OKC Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves. Nights like this from Jokic help them do that.
