The Denver Nuggets trailed by as many as 18 points on Thursday night vs. the Golden State Warriors, but a roaring fourth quarter turnaround was capped off by an incredible game-winning three by Nikola Jokic to steal a win on the road:

Speaking with the NBA on TNT crew after the game, Jokic was asked if he called glass on the three, and said, "My friend, it went in. I'm happy."

When asked about the comeback, Jokic said, "I think we were down 12 in the last 3:40 to go," Jokic said. "... Really, really nice comeback win for us. We didn't give up. I think that's one of the best descriptions of us. We never quit."

Denver's championship DNA was on full display in this game, which is something the Warriors tout, but have not shown for any consistent stretches since their title in 2022. This loss was arguably the worst for Golden State this season, which is saying a lot considering the blown leads they have on their schedule already.

For Denver, this was a statement win. While nobody questions how good this Nuggets team is, being able to show that in the face of adversity while trailing big on the road is huge. Once again proving they are still the team to beat, Denver turned in another big win over Golden State.
