The Denver Nuggets are set to face the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night, and superstar center Nikola Jokic has been upgraded from probable to available for this game. Jokic was unexpectedly added to the injury report for this game with low back pain, but the reigning Finals MVP has since been upgraded to available, which was the expected outcome.

Any time a player is listed as probable, it’s always likely that they are going to play; however, this was something to keep an eye on for Jokic, since his addition to the injury report was not expected. The Nuggets will again be without star point guard Jamal Murray in this game, but with Jokic and the others, it should be enough to take care of business against the worst team in the Western Conference.

The Spurs have lost 11 games in a row, and the Nuggets will look to make it 12 in this one. San Antonio has gotten off to a dreadful start to the season, and it doesn’t look like it will be getting much better with the way they have been playing. That said, there are talented players on this Spurs roster, starting with Victor Wembanyama. The Nuggets know this, and will need to approach this game with the right focus, even with San Antonio’s struggles so far this year.
