After defeating the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night, the Denver Nuggets are set to face the LA Clippers on Monday night. Reigning finals MVP Nikola Jokic is being listed as questionable for this game with low back pain. Jokic was also listed on the injury report for Sunday night's game against the Spurs with the same injury designation, but his status was probable for that game.

Jokic of course played in that win over the Spurs, and is now questionable on the last half of a back to back. The Nuggets got back on track in that game, handing the Spurs their 12th straight loss. While Denver has dominated the Clippers over the last several seasons, LA has been playing much better as of late, and will present a real challenge in this one.

Already without Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray, Denver will be in a lot of trouble if Jokic is not able to play. The superstar’s final status will likely be revealed shortly before game time.

With the return of Jamal Murray growing nearer, the Nuggets are looking to stack as many wins as possible before getting their star point guard back. It has been a bit of a struggle in Murray's absence, but the Nuggets are still right near the top of the Western Conference, which is where they expect to be.
