The Denver Nuggets are taking on the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, and reigning Finals MVP Nikola Jokic is not listed on the injury report, meaning he is available to play. Jokic had been appearing on the injury report recently right a right arm contusion, but is no longer listed, which is great news.

Jokic did not have to miss any time with this right arm contusion, but it is still great to see him removed from the injury report entirely. This is big game for Denver, as they have finally caught the Oklahoma City Thunder atop the Western Conference standings, and want to now create some separation between themselves and the rest of the the West.

The OKC Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and LA Clippers have all hovered around the first seed for several weeks, but Denver has kept pace with all of them, and now sits in a tie with OKC atop the standings. Securing home court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs is a big deal, especially for a team like Denver who has arguably the best home court advantage in all of basketball.

This game against the Heat is of course an NBA Finals rematch, as the Nuggets defeated Miami in last year's Finals. With Jokic available to play, the Nuggets have to like their chances in this game against the Heat.
