Nikola Jokic's Status for Nuggets vs. Rockets Revealed

The Nuggets have listed Jokic's availability.

The Denver Nuggets hope to get a bounce-back win against the Houston Rockets tonight and fortunately, they'll have their best player available.

Nikola Jokic has been officially listed as available by the Denver Nuggets tonight against the Houston Rockets. He had previously missed games due to lower back pain, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for him anymore.

The Nuggets and Rockets have already faced off three times this season, with all three prior games being in November. Right now, the Houston Rockets currently have a 2-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets.

This season against the Houston Rockets, Nikola Jokic is averaging 35.3 points, 11.3 assists, and 16.7 rebounds on 51/38/82 shooting. The numbers that Jokic has been putting up have been truly tremendous, and it's a bit shocking that the Rockets could even have a 2-1 series lead against the Nuggets. With how poor Jokic shot against the Clippers on Wednesday night, one would expect him to have a huge bounce-back game against Houston tonight.

A win tonight would give the Denver Nuggets a 15-8 record, and a chance at being the 2nd seed. A loss would actually tie them with the Lakers, and potentially have them at the 4th seed. The massive lead that the Nuggets had on the rest of the league no longer exists, and the time to start winning is now.
