The Denver Nuggets are set to face the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night, and Nikola Jokic will be available to play. The Nuggets have released their injury report for this game, and Vlatko Cancar, Jalen Pickett, Julian Strawther, and Hunter Tyson have all been ruled out. With these being the only absences for Denver, Jokic and the rest of the regulars will be good to go.

While the Pistons are of course the worst team in the NBA, sitting at an abysmal 3-32, the Nuggets still have to approach this game with the right level of focus. The Pistons have been playing with a level of desperation that has pushed some solid opponents to the brink in recent games, so Denver certainly must be prepared to match this intensity.

The Nuggets have been playing solid basketball despite their last loss, having won 8 of their last 10 games to put their record at 25-12. Looking to climb up the Western Conference standings while holding off a surging LA Clippers team, each game is important for Denver if they want to optimize their seeding.

The Western Conference playoffs project to be as difficult as ever this season, so Denver securing a top seed will certainly help their path to repeating as champions. Each game counts towards making that happen, including this one vs. the Pistons.
