The Denver Nuggets are facing the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night in a Western Conference battle, and superstar center Nikola Jokic is not listed on the injury report, meaning he is available to play.

The Nuggets recently reclaimed the first seed in the Western Conference, and they will look to strengthen their grip on that spot throughout the rest of the regular season. Home court advantage throughout the playoffs is a big deal for any team, but the Nuggets have arguably the best home court advantage in all of basketball, which makes it that much more important for them.

This game against the Spurs is certainly one that Denver should win, but San Antonio does have rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama who is a problem for any team. The Spurs will not be making the playoffs this season, but they do still play hard, as they are trying to build some momentum entering next season.

The Nuggets have been playing great basketball recently, having won nine of their last 10 games, including four in a row. Currently tied atop the Western Conference with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Nuggets want to create some separation between them and Oklahoma City, which can only come through wins.

This makes every game important for the Nuggets, including this one on Friday night against the last place Spurs.
