Nuggets Star Gets Honest About Team Chemistry
If you think the Denver Nuggets may have lost a step after losing Bruce Brown and Jeff Green, Aaron Gordon is here to tell you that you're wrong.
During practice, Aaron Gordon spoke to the media where he revealed that the chemistry of the Nuggets is the same as it was last year, if not even better.
"Feels like clockwork, you know," Gordon said. "Just like how we left off last year, feels like we're right back, if not better. Better understanding of each other. We know what we're going to get to. Guys have gotten better in their own role."
While some may be surprised at Gordon's statements, he certainly isn't. Gordon believes in the talent of the Nuggets and how capable they are as a basketball team.
"It's not surprising," Gordon said. "These guys are, I mean, come on. You've got vets, KCP is a pro's pro, you've got a two-time MVP, you've got Jamal Murray who should have been an All-Star last year, MPJ could have been an All-Star too. You've got guys on here that just know how to play the game of basketball. We like each other."
While team chemistry is one thing, actual team talent is another. The Denver Nuggets lost a legitimate talent in Bruce Brown and will need others on the team to fill his role as the season progresses. Hopefully, it comes sooner rather than later with the chemistry.
