Shaquille O'Neal Reveals Massive Praise to Denver Nuggets
Every NBA fan knows that Shaquille O'Neal is one of the hardest NBA players to impress. He's consistently very critical of players and teams, but there's one team that Shaq has a ton of respect for - the Denver Nuggets.
During Inside the NBA, Shaq gave his opinion on the third-seeded Denver Nuggets, and he revealed massive praise for the current champions.
"When you're trying to be a champion, you learn not to panic," Shaq said. "When you become a champion, you know not to panic... I'm never worried about them. I like the progress that they're doing right now. You want to have some kind of home-court advantage when this thing starts in April-May, right now, they're sitting at number three. Joker is playing well, Denver Nuggets are in great shape right now."
Years ago, it felt like only Charles Barkley gave the Denver Nuggets their due. Now, it's not just Nikola Jokic receiving universal praise, but the entire Nuggets roster. The team looks like champions, Jokic looks like the best player in the NBA, and no one is doubting them anymore. The Nuggets will always find a way to win games, and their epic comeback against the Golden State Warriors showed just that.
As long as the Denver Nuggets can remain healthy, everyone should expect them to be in the Conference Finals again.
