The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder are set to face off in a Western Conference showdown on Saturday night. This will be a battle of two of the best teams in the NBA to start the season, as just a half-game currently separates OKC and Denver in the Western Conference standings.

Both teams have released their injury reports for this game, and star point guard Jamal Murray is listed as probable with bilateral ankle sprains. Murray has been battling ankle issues over the last several games, but seems to be turning a corner. The NBA champion suffered the ankle injury in his first game back from an extended hamstring injury absence, which was frustrating.

While Murray has been working through this ankle issue, he has started to find a bit of a groove. Murray's minutes have been lower than usual, but he did score 29 points against the Atlanta Hawks two games ago, and added 16 points in the win over the Brooklyn Nets in just 22 minutes of play.

The Nuggets know they need Murray healthy if they want to repeat as champions, so the team will continue to monitor the situation with his ankle injury throughout the year. For now, it is looking like Murray will be good to go for this game against OKC, as he is listed as probable.
