Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray has missed the last 11 games with a hamstring injury, but the star point guard could be nearing a return. The Nuggets have released their injury report for Wednesday night's game vs. the Houston Rockets, and Murray has been upgraded to questionable.

While a questionable status does not mean Murray is guaranteed to play, an upgraded status like this is a major update after an extended absence, and usually means a player is getting very close to returning. Coming off of a very shorthanded win against the LA Clippers, getting Murray back for this game vs. Houston could really help the Nuggets start building some momentum after a rocky last two weeks.

Denver has not been the same team in Murray's absence, but as previously mentioned, they stole a very impressive win in LA on Monday night without Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Aaron Gordon. A win like that can always spark a team, and when combined with the possible return of Murray and others, Denver could really find a groove.

As great as Jokic and the Nuggets are, they know Murray is as important to what they do as anyone else. Feeling his absence the last 11 games, the Nuggets are excited to get him back soon, and perhaps even by next game. Upgraded to questionable, Murray should be getting close to a return.
