After initially posting a clean injury report, the Denver Nuggets have added star point guard Jamal Murray to their Game 6 injury report. Murray is being listed as questionable for Game 6 with a non-covid illness.

Through five games in this series, Murray is averaging 24.6 PPG, 7.0 APG, and 5.0 RPG. While he has struggled with his three-point shot, Murray has undoubtedly been Denver's second-best player, and would be a major absence if he was unable to play Game 6.

The Nuggets took a 3-2 series lead when they defeated the Suns at home in Game 5, and will now look to finish this series without heading back to Denver for Game 7. Neither team has won a road game in this series, and Denver is looking to change that in Game 6.

An official update on the status of Murray will likely come shortly before game time. A questionable status certainly means he could still play; however, the team obviously deemed this illness significant enough to list him on the injury report, which is somewhat concerning.

If Murray is unable to go, the Nuggets will have to rely even more on Nikola Jokic, who has been arguably the best player in the world during this postseason. Averaging 35 PPG, 13.8 RPG, and 10.0 APG in this series, Jokic is more than capable of carrying a team.
