The Denver Nuggets are set to face the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night in the second half of a back-to-back. Denver has released their injury report for this game, and star point guard Jamal Murray has been ruled out with bilateral tibia inflammation. Even without Murray, the Nuggets should have enough to take care of business against the Trail Blazers in this one, as Portland is one of the worst teams in basketball.

Entering the All-Star break on a three-game losing streak, the Nuggets knew they needed to get back on track immediately after returning from the break. Starting that well with a win over the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, Denver will look to make it back-to-back victories when they take on Portland on Friday night.

Nikola Jokic turned in a historic performance against the Wizards on Thursday, recording a triple double against Washington to make it 29 teams that he has recorded at least one against. Jokic also recorded the first game in NBA history with at least 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists and 100% shooting, adding to what was a historic night form him.

It was a special showing for Jokic vs. Washington, who will be relied upon even more against the Trail Blazers on Friday night with Murray being sidelined. The Nuggets and Trail Blazers will tip-off at 10:00 PM EST.
