San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama has made a lot of history this season, doing things on seemingly a nightly basis that no other rookie has done. Wembanyama's combination of defensive prowess and offensive versatility has made him one of the league's best rookies in recent years, and he continues to improve with each game he plays.

Recording his first career triple-double on Wednesday night, Wembanyama joined a very exclusive list, doing it with no turnovers:

Joining Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic and Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton as the only three players to achieve a triple-double without turning the ball over this season, Wembanyama was incredible against the Pistons. Joining Jokic on any list is impressive, as the reigning Finals MVP stands alone on many other lists.

This combination of production and efficiency from Wembanyama is incredibly impressive. Finishing this game with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists, Wembanyama helped lead the Spurs to just their 6th win all year. Taking down a Pistons team that has just three wins all season, the Spurs handed Detroit their league-leading 35th loss.

The Rookie of the Year race remains tight between Wembanyama and OKC Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren, but performances like this certainly help Wembanyama's case. This race will likely go down to the wire, as both rookies have been fantastic for their respective teams.
