Denver Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. is currently in Taiwan to attend a baseball game. Receiving a warm welcome at the airport, Porter has been feeling the love from his fans there; however, one interaction at the baseball game was a bit more unexpected.

Standing on the mound prior to the first pitch ceremony, Porter was approached by a fan who ran onto the field. Thankfully, the fan just wanted a hug, but this was certainly an unexpected interaction. Porter was standing between what looked to be two team employees who tried to keep the fan from reaching him, but the Nuggets star was kind to the fan and showed him some love.

While situations like these can go badly, it was cool to see Porter handle it the way he did. Giving the fan and hug and shaking his hand, Porter said it was nice to meet him. It truly looked as if the fan just wanted to hug the Nuggets star, which is something Porter recognized right away. This may not have been the type of interaction that the baseball team and their security was hoping to see, but it all went well.

Porter is enjoying some time in Taiwan before training camp begins in a few weeks. The sharpshooting forward and his Nuggets teammates will look to defend their title next season after a summer of celebrations.
