With the NBA offseason approaching August, free agency has died down, major trade discussions seem to be at a standstill, but the summer workouts are at their peak. NBA players often take some time to rest when the offseason first begins, but as the summer grows older, players get right back to high-intensity training.

The championship Denver Nuggets are no exception, because while they may have taken an even longer break after their season ended - to give them time to appropriately celebrate, the time for work has officially begun. Some rare offseason footage recently surfaced of young Nuggets players Christian Braun and Zeke Nnaji putting in work in Las Vegas:

With the Nuggets losing Bruce Brown in free agency to the Indiana Pacers, the team is going to be very reliant on a leap from Braun. The rookie guard played important minutes in Denver's championship run, including in the NBA Finals, where he appeared in all five games. While Nikola Jokic rightfully received most of the media coverage, players like Braun helped bolster what was a strong supporting cast around him.

Scoring 15 points in Denver's Game 3 win, Braun was huge in that game, finishing with a +15 plus/minus in 19 minutes off the bench. This was a very encouraging sign for what's to come for Braun, especially with the team likely needing him to fill an even bigger role next season. As for Nnaji, the 22 year old forward saw much less time than Braun, but the Nuggets are still excited about his upside.
