Nikola Jokic's Injury Status vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are set to face off in a crucial Western Conference battle on Wednesday night. Entering this game with identical records, Minnesota and Denver are tied atop the Western Conference.
The Nuggets have released their injury report for this game, and star center Nikola Jokic is being listed as probable with left hip inflammation. This is the same injury designation Jokic has had for several games now, and he has ended up available each time.
This game will go a long away towards determining who finishes first in the West, which makes it arguably the biggest game of the year for both teams. The first seed is something both teams want, as home court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs is a big deal.
As previously mentioned, Jokic has been playing through this hip inflammation, and it seemingly hasn't been bothering him to the point of impacting his performance.
Denver and Minnesota have been keeping pace with each other all season, with neither team allowing the other to create any separation in the standings. Something will eventually have to give, and this game could certainly be the deciding factor between who finishes first and who finishes second.
This should be an exciting game between two contenders who could see each other at some point in the playoffs.
