Indiana Pacers reveal City Edition uniforms for 2023-24 season

The Pacers alternate uniform for this season is official

The Indiana Pacers, along with other NBA teams, announced their City Edition uniforms for the 2023-24 season on Thursday.

The jersey is black with cyan and yellow details, and many of the colorful portions have a spray paint-like appearance. They can be seen on Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin below.

This is the first time a Pacers uniform says "Indy" on the front and the first all black jersey the team has worn. Last year's city edition kits had some black but also a ton of blue.

"Indy is ready to show off its pop for the NBA and the world with a fierceness and a boldness worthy of the vibrant, diverse place we have created, and that's the excitement that really comes through in this year's Nike NBA 23-24 City Edition Uniforms," Pacers Sports & Entertainment President and Chief Commercial Officer Todd Taylor said in a press release. "What surprises many people when they first visit Indy is the richness of our culture and the quiet confidence of our people, but the days of sneaking up on people are long gone. Indy has arrived, and these jerseys tell that story."

Some elements of the jersey were influenced by the Indianapolis art scene. They will be worn 16 times this season, including 13 times in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers will rock them for the first time on November 3 — tomorrow.

In addition to a city edition uniform, the franchise also announced a new court to go with it. It can be seen below.

The Pacers also unveiled a new court for in-season tournament games earlier this week. There will be a new look for the franchise often this season. More city edition details can be found here.
