The NBA shared in a release that "The high-performance, immersive sports floor is designed to enhance the fan experience in-arena and on broadcast through its interactive displays. During each event, visual effects displayed on the court will include the following:
- Design and color changes
- Live replays and other video content
- Real-time game stats

- Interactive games for fans during timeouts
- Immersive animations following key plays and moments."
On Thursday, several media members were invited to see various elements involved with All-Star weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium, including the court, branding on uniforms, and more. The NBA Cares 24 Hours of Service kicks off in that arena on Thursday, and the first basketball event in the building will be the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night.
Several pictures and videos of the court were shared on social media. It was developed by ASB GlassFloor.
On top of the Celebrity Game, the LED court will also be home to the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, "Stephen vs. Sabrina," the first-ever NBA vs WNBA 3-Point Challenge, and Slam Dunk contest, per the league. Several Indiana Pacers players will participate in those events.
All-Star weekend is underway in Indianapolis, and it ramps up in activity level tomorrow. Events have already started downtown, with fans traveling to the city from all over the world. They will get to see the LED court soon.
