According to a report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Indiana Pacers will be signing Jordan Bell to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Bell, 28, is a frontcourt player who has split time between the center and power forward positions throughout his career. He has five seasons of NBA experience under his belt, most recently with the Chicago Bulls during the 2021-22 season. He won a title as a rookie with the Golden State Warriors.

He was selected 38th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft. Because he is signing an Exhibit 10 deal, he could end up being with the Pacers for a portion of training camp. If he is waived prior to the start of the NBA season and then reports to Indiana's G League affiliate team, the Mad Ants, for 60 days, he will receive a financial bonus.

Scotto adds in his report that "Bell will be a veteran leader for Indiana's G League affiliate, the Mad Ants," so it sounds like the G League is the plan for Bell. He joins Darius McGhee and Craig Sword as upcoming Exhibit 10 signees for the blue and gold.

Bell has previous experience in the Pacers organization. The Mad Ants traded for his G League rights in January of 2022, and he played in 21 games for the squad. He averaged 13.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game for the Mad Ants in the 2021-22 season.

Now, he's back with the group, but they have moved from Fort Wayne to Indianapolis since his last stint. As Scotto reported, he will be asked to be a leader this year.

The Mad Ants schedule was announced earlier in the month. If Bell does end up with the G League squad, his debut could come on November 11. They will play games in Indianapolis this year before transitioning to Noblesville.
