Indiana Pacers vs Brooklyn Nets preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds April 1
The Indiana Pacers host the Brooklyn Nets tonight for their first game of April. The Pacers are hoping that this month will end with a playoff berth while the Nets are just hoping the season ends soon — they have been disappointing.
Brooklyn is 3-7 in their last 10 games and has fallen to 29-46. Their chances of making the Play-In tournament are all but gone. They have been on a skid since late December. The Pacers, meanwhile, have won six of their last 10 games and are close to clinching a top-eight seed in the Eastern Conference. That would give them a great chance at playing postseason basketball in 2024.

Pacers vs Nets Injury Report
The Pacers listed Bennedict Mathurin (torn labrum) as out. Quenton Jackson, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Isaiah Wong are questionable due to their status on two-way contracts.
Brooklyn played last night, so they have not yet released an injury report. On Sunday, they were without Keita Bates-Diop, Jacob Gilyard, Keon Johnson, Jaylen Martin, Ben Simmons, and Dariq Whitehead when they hosted the LA Lakers.
Key Matchup
Aaron Nesmith vs Mikal Bridges: Bridges is one of the best two-way wings in the NBA. The former All-Defensive team wing is averaging over 20 points per game and is doing so on solid efficiency. He is a terrific talent.
He will be matched up with Nesmith tonight. The young Pacers wing just limited LeBron James to 16 points last Friday, and he only committed one foul in nearly 40 minutes of action. He was terrific, and he will need to be just as good against Bridges to give Indiana the best possible chance to win.
