The Indiana Pacers will look to bounce back tonight after a tough loss on Wednesday as they welcome the Brooklyn Nets to town. The Pacers fell in overtime to Chicago three days ago and are 3-2 in their last five games.

The Nets, meanwhile, are 2-3 in that same stretch with some impressive victories but equally unimpressive defeats. Somehow, despite Brooklyn and Indiana being in the same conference, this is the first meeting between the two teams in 2023-24. They're both fighting for seeding in the Eastern Conference.

Pacers vs Nets Injury Report

The Pacers listed Doug McDermott (calf strain) and Bennedict Mathurin (torn labrum) as out. Quenton Jackson, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Isaiah Wong are questionable as a part of their two-way contracts.

For the Nets, Noah Clowney, Jacob Gilyard, Keon Johnson, Jaylen Martin, Ben Simmons, and Dariq Whitehead are out.

Key Matchup

Pascal Siakam vs Mikal Bridges: Two talented forwards will face off at the four spot tonight in Siakam and Bridges, and both players have the ability to tilt the balance of a game. Bridges is an elite defender who can knock down shots while Siakam can slither his way around defenses.

Whoever gets the better of their matchup between these two will shift the tides of the action. Siakam has been playing well of late, but Bridges presents a tough matchup for anybody.
