The Indiana Pacers continue their road trip tonight as they take on the Kings in Sacramento. These two franchises are well connected — former Kings Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield play for Indiana while ex-Pacers Domantas Sabonis and Chris Duarte are on Sacramento's roster. Tonight will be Duarte's first time ever going against the Pacers after an offseason trade.

The Pacers acquired star forward Pascal Siakam yesterday, but he still has to take a physical and is not expected to be available for the game. Indiana and Sacramento both currently sit at 23-17.

Pacers vs Kings Injury Report

The Pacers are banged up and in the midst of a transaction, so they have a lengthy injury report. Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, and Kira Lewis Jr (just acquired on Wednesday) are out as their trade is pending. Kendall Brown (two-way), Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring), Bennedict Mathurin (ankle), Aaron Nesmith (leg strain), Obi Toppin (calf), Oscar Tshiebwe (two-way), and Isaiah Wong (two-way) are all questionable.

The Kings, meanwhile, are healthy and don't have a listing on the injury report.

Key Matchup

Myles Turner vs Domantas Sabonis: Two former teammates will battle in the post as Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner face off. It's the third matchup between the two since Sabonis was traded to the Kings in February of 2023.

Sabonis is averaging 20.1 points and a league-leading 12.7 rebounds per game. Turner is posting 17.2 points and 7.3 boards per game himself. Turner is the better shooter and pick-and-roll defender of the two, but Sabonis is far better around the basket on offense and is bruising on the other end. Their clash down low could define the game.
