The Indiana Pacers wrap up the NBA's toughest back-to-back tonight as they take on the Utah Jazz on the road. The Pacers battled the Denver Nuggets last night, so they are playing consecutive games in the altitude.

The Pacers beat the Jazz back in November, but Utah is a much-improved team since then. They will be a tougher opponent tonight, especially with Indiana's star guard Tyrese Haliburton sidelined. Utah is in the middle of a homestand.

Pacers vs Jazz Injury Report

The Pacers are on the second night of a back-to-back, so they have not yet released an official injury report. They were without Haliburton and Aaron Nesmith last night in Denver.

For the Jazz, Taylor Hendricks, Johnny Juzang, Micah Potter, Jason Preston, and Brice Sensabaugh are out.

Key Matchup

Jalen Smith vs Lauri Markkanen: Markkanen is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. The Finnish forward is averaging 23.7 points per game and is an excellent play finisher from nearly every spot on the floor. He is a terrific, efficient player.

Containing him is extremely difficult, but the Pacers will try with their bigger frontcourt. Jalen Smith will have to be on his A-game defensively while also having a solid offensive night himself to keep up with Utah's star.
