NBA News: Pelicans, Ibotta Partner With Bayou District For Thanksgiving Meals
New Orleans, LA – The New Orleans Pelicans, in collaboration with Ibotta, and the Bayou District Foundation, distributed over 100 Thanksgiving meals to the Columbia Parc community in New Orleans on Nov. 15. This collective effort demonstrates the strong commitment of each organization to giving back and positively impacting the local community. Pelicans players Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy III and Cody Zeller were key participants in the turkey distribution.
For the third year, Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform and cash back rewards network, worked with the New Orleans Pelicans to make the Thanksgiving food distribution event a reality. Rouses Markets supplied Thanksgiving turkeys and fixings. This participation emphasizes the Pelicans' and Ibotta’s dedication to creating a meaningful Thanksgiving experience for those in need.
Each bag contained the following food items:
- Thanksgiving Turkey
- Rouses Can Corn
- Rouses Cut Green Beans
- Turkey Gravy
- Whole Cranberry Sauce
- Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Cornbread Stuffing mix
- Corn Muffin Mix
- Can Cut Yams
- Macaroni & Cheese meal kit
