The New Orleans Pelicans exercised the team option on Naji Marshall's $1.93M contract for the 2023-24 season, according to The Athletics' Will Guillory.
Marshall, 25, shoots for 41.8% from the field, 77.3% from the free-throw line, and averages 3.5 RPG, 2.1 APG, and 0.7 SPG in 164 total game appearances in New Orleans. The small forward usually comes off the bench in relief of starter Brandon Ingram. Last season he started 21 times, averaging 9.1 PPG, 2.5 APG, .07 BPG, and 3.0 RPG.
