The rookie guard played 33:33 minutes and contributed a team-high 32 points in the loss. He also recorded seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block in the loss.
The Squadron was leading 117-112 with 3:20 seconds left in the game, but they could only score two points for the remainder of the match.
The other Pelicans players with notable performances were E.J. Liddell and Landers Nolley II, scoring 15 and 11 points, respectively.
