Pelicans Recall Two-Way Player From G League Affiliate Ahead Of Celtics Game
New Orleans has transferred their two-way forward from its G League affiliate.

New Orleans has transferred two-way player, forward Matt Ryan, from the Birmingham Squadron to the Pelicans roster. Ryan has been sidelined with an elbow injury since Dec. 7.
On Dec. 12, the team announced he would undergo surgery to "remove loose bodies" with an expected return between six to eight weeks.
He was cleared to return to action with the Squadron and averaged 8.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.0 treys, and 1.0 rebounds.
Ryan averaged 9.3 points in 13 game appearances, with one start from the start of the 2023-24 season.
