BREAKING: Zion Williamson, Trae Young, Dejounte Murray Status For Pelicans-Hawks Game, 3/10
The New Orleans Pelicans (38-35) are attempting to end a successful road trip against a wounded Atlanta Hawks (29-34) team that will be without its leader, Trae Young. Sunday's contest will be the final time Atlanta and New Orleans will meet. Surprisingly, Atlanta has won 11 of its last 15 meetings with the Pelicans, including eight of its previous 10.
ABOUT THE NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
Zion Williams and CJ McCollum lead a relatively healthy New Orleans crew that will have the full complement of the starting five in Atlanta. Although he's practicing back home, Dyson Daniels (left knee) remains the lone player nursing an injury.
The projected New Orleans Pelicans starters will be CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and Jonas Valanciunas.
ABOUT THE ATLANTA HAWKS
A torn ligament in Trae Young's finger will keep him out of Sunday's game, along with Kobe Bufkin (left toe), Jalen Johnson (ankle), and Onyeka Okongwu (toe). One concern is for Dejounte Murray, whose left calf contusion reports him as probable to face the Pelicans.
The Atlanta Hawks' starters for their last game were Vit Krejci, Saddiq Bey, Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Dejounte Murray. There's no official report on who would replace Murray if Quin Snyder pulls him from today's lineup.
