PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns won't have Jusuf Nurkic available against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.

Nurkic was initially ruled questionable with a right ankle sprain. Drew Eubanks is expected to start in his place.

Nurkic - who dealt with calf soreness last week - temporarily exited action with a lower leg injury before returning in Phoenix's loss against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.

Nurkic's 73 games started leads all Suns players this season, as Nurkic has fought through numerous injuries to make himself available on a consistent basis.

Kevin Durant and Grayson Allen - both at 71 - are the only other Phoenix players to play 70+ games for the organization thus far.

Nurkic is averaging 11.1 points and 11 rebounds per night heading into the first of a back-to-back against the Clippers this week. His rebounding rate is good enough for seventh in the entire NBA while Nurkic has grabbed double-digit boards in his last four outings.

He's also averaging one block and one steal per night.

Phoenix previously ruled Damion Lee out as the sharpshooter continues to recover from meniscus surgery. Lee and Nurkic were the only names listed on the team's injury report.

The Suns have won their last seven-of-ten entering tonight's contest vs. Los Angeles. Phoenix sits four games behind the Clippers (No. 4) with possession of the No. 6 seed out West.

Opening tip for Suns-Clippers will be just past 7:00 PM Arizona time.
