Suns Reveal Starters vs Wolves
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns look to continue their winning ways as the Minnesota Timberwolves come to Footprint Center for a Friday night showdown.
Suns coach Frank Vogel will utilize the following starting lineup:
Devin Booker
Bradley Beal
Grayson Allen
Kevin Durant
Jusuf Nurkic
Nurkic was initially considered questionable ahead of game time but will play. Nurkic's 11 rebounds per night is currently good for seventh in the league.
Allen was probable after missing Wednesday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with hip soreness. He currently leads the NBA in three-point shooting percentage.
The Suns have won their last six-of-eight entering tonight after strong performances from Booker and Durant as of late. Booker has scored a combined 92 points in his last two outings while Durant dropped 32 points on Wednesday.
As a result, Beal's taken a minor step back in terms of production, though the newest star addition has adapted well as Phoenix's de-facto point guard. He's had at least six assists in his last ten-of-eleven games.
The Suns are 45-31 moving into tonight with possesion of the West's No. 6 seed. Minnesota is tops in the West at 53-23.
Opening tip is slated for just past 7:00 PM Arizona time.
