Pistons Wrap Up Road Trip With Loss

The Pistons have been on the road out west for about a week and played some of the best teams in the Western Conference and the NBA overall. Detroit fell hard against Golden State, got a nice comeback win against Sacramento and then took back-to-back Ls against Utah and Denver.
Last night in Denver, the Pistons hung with the Nuggets until the very end but ultimately fell by six points.

Isaiah Stewart finished with 18 points and didn't miss a shot, going 8-for-8. Cade Cunningham is starting to be a very regular stat-sheet stuffer as he finished with 18 points, eight assists and five board. Cory Joseph and Trey Lyles also both finished with 18 points apiece.
It'll be good for the Pistons to get back home after the long road trip and they'll do so on Tuesday night against the Nuggets for a rematch.
