Pistons Pick Up Nice Win North Of The Border
The Raptors weren't at full strength, but a W is a W for the young Pistons.
The Pistons let the Raptors climb back into the game late but held on to win 108-106 in Toronto. Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby were both out for Toronto, but a win is a win, especially on the road and especially for this young Detroit team.
Rookie Cade Cunningham was outstanding scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He also had five assists and the game sealing block with less than five seconds remaining in the game.
Jerami Grant led the Pistons with 26 points and Saddiq Bey chipped in 23. Once again Detroit's bench left a little to be desired, but the starters did enough to get the job done in Toronto.
The Pistons have now won four of their last six and will be back home tomorrow night against the Indiana Pacers.
