OG Anunoby To Return For Raptors vs. Pistons
The Toronto Raptors will have OG Anunoby back in the lineup Sunday evening against the Detroit Pistons.
Anunoby missed three straight games with a right index finger laceration he suffered doing household chores, the team said. He'd been listed as probable but will play. He had received stitches in the finger.
Toronto is not expecting Anunoby to have any limitations, Raptors Darko Rajaković said. Anunoby had been shooting 39.3% from three-point range this season and the Raptors are going to need that to continue with a dearth of shooters on the roster.
Expect Anunoby to slide back into the starting lineup with Gary Trent Jr. moving to his sixth-man role. Toronto will likely use Otto Porter Jr., Malachi Flynn, Precious Achiuwa, and potentially Gradey Dick and Chris Boucher off the bench.
Thad Young and Christian Koloko will be the only players sidelined for Toronto.
Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Harris, Jalen Duran, Killian Hayes, Isaiah Livers, and Monte Morris are all out for Detroit.
