OG Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr. Ruled Out for Raptors

The Toronto Raptors will be without OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. for Monday night's game against the Washington Wizards

The Toronto Raptors will be a tad shorthanded Monday night against the Washington Wizards.

Both OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. will be sidelined, the team announced. Both players had been listed as questionable.

Anunoby sustained a right finger injury doing household chores on Sunday, the team said. It's unclear how long he'll be out as the injury is on his shooting hand.

Trent, meanwhile, will miss his second straight game with right foot plantar fasciitis. He sustained the injury during practice last Friday.

Expect Otto Porter Jr. or Gradey Dick to step into the starting lineup and provide some much-needed three-point shooting for Toronto. The Raptors will likely use Chris Boucher, Precious Achiuwa, Malachi Flynn, and potentially Jalen McDaniels off the bench to make up for the lost depth.

Without Anunoby, Toronto will likely use Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam as the primary defenders on Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma, Washington's top scorers so far this year.

Washington will be without Delon Wright (right knee sprain) and Danilo Gallinari (rest).

Even without Anunoby, Toronto remains -8 point favorites to beat the Wizards.
