The Toronto Raptors will be in East Group B for next season's NBA Cup, formerly known as the In-Season Tournament.

It's a group with Milwaukee, Indiana, Miami, and Detroit who will play a series of five games against Toronto next season for a chance to advance out of the group stage.

The Raptors will enter this year's tournament as the No. 4 seed in what is likely the second toughest of the three Eastern Conference groups.

East Group A features New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Charlotte. Group C will feature the remaining Eastern conference teams including Bostom, Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington.

Toronto will play Milwaukee and Miami at home with games scheduled against Indiana and Detroit on the road.

In the West, Group A features Minnesota, the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento, Houston, and Portland. Group B includes Oklahoma City, Phoenix, the Los Angeles Lakers, Utah, and San Antonio. Group C will be led by Denver alongside Dallas, New Orleans, Golden State, and Memphis.

Tournament games will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3 and each team will play one game against each of the four opponents in its group.

The top teams in each group along with the top two second place finishers in each conference will advance out of the group stage and play in a single-elimination playoff to determine the champion.

All NBA Cup games will count toward the 82-game regular season except the championship game where the winner will be awarded a cash prize.
