The Toronto Raptors might be catching a break against a shorthanded and exhausted Boston Celtics team on Friday night.

Four of Boston’s five typical starters have popped up on the injury report with their status up in the air against Toronto. As of their initial report, only Al Horford has been declared out as he will be resting on the second night of a back-to-back.

Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable with a lower back contusion. He missed Thursday’s game against the Detroit Pistons with the injury.

Jayson Tatum is questionable as well with left ankle sprain management. He had been listed on Boston’s injury report Thursday but did play.

Jrue Holiday is a new addition to the injury report with a right elbow sprain that has him as questionable as well.

Kristaps Porzingis is listed as doubtful to play with left calf injury management.

Boston’s only regular starter not listed on the injury report is Derrick White who may be tasked with leading a hodgepodge of Celtics reserves against the Raptors.

As for Toronto, the Raptors remain with a fully intact rotation. Only Christian Koloko has been ruled out while Garrett Temple remains doubtful with a right ankle sprain.

Boston remains favored against Toronto, but the spread has moved two points toward the Raptors down to -6.5 in favor of the Celtics.

Toronto will be on the first night of a back-to-back before heading to Detroit in a much-anticipated meeting with the Pistons who will be looking to snap a 28-game skid. A loss by the Pistons to Toronto would give Detroit the most consecutive losses in NBA history.
