Bulls' Zach LaVine 'Quietly' Available As East Heads Toward Major Changes
Zach LaVine may have played his final game for the Chicago Bulls.
The two-time NBA All-Star is “quietly” being discussed in trade talks by the Bulls, according to Yahoo’s Jake Fischer, and could be one of multiple star-caliber players in the Eastern Conference moved this summer.
The asking price is expected to be high for LaVine who averaged 24.8 points per game while shooting 37.5% from behind the arc with 4.2 assists and 4.5 rebounds. Considering his age, 28 years old, it’s unlikely the Toronto Raptors opt to get involved with the Bulls in those trade conversations.
Chicago appears to be another team alongside Toronto and the Washington Wizards in the Eastern Conference that is debating taking a step back next season.
Washington is reportedly discussing trading Bradley Beal and his massive contract this summer. Toronto has made no public indication that the organization wants to retool, but the Raptors have reportedly been mentioned as a team looking to trade up in the draft, per Fischer.
It’s unclear what the market for LaVine would look like, though Miami, New York, Houston, and Portland are thought to be teams looking to add star power this summer.
