The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without Anthony Edwards on Saturday night when they take on the Toronto Raptors.

The third-year guard has been announced as out with a right ankle sprain, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch told media pre-game. It's unsurprising news considering Edwards was seen in a protective medical boot on Friday night, having exited Minnesota's double-overtime loss against the Chicago Bulls in the first quarter following an awkward fall.

Minnesota is already without Karl-Anthony Towns who remains sidelined right a right calf strain. He has not played since late November and missed the team's last meeting against Toronto.

Rudy Gobert is a game-time decision, Finch announced. He is officially listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain.

Toronto will have Christian Koloko available off the bench, the team announced. Koloko is battling a fracture in his nose and is expected to wear a facial mask Saturday night.
