Chris Boucher took to Instagram on Wednesday to apologize for breaking the Toronto Raptors mandated self-quarantine.

"A few days ago, I broke our team mandated self-quarantine. I want to apologize to the city of Toronto, our fans and the Raptors organization. While I have tested negative for COVID-19, It was never my intention to endanger our community - I recognize my mistake and have remained self-quarantined since. Let's stay safe Toronto," Boucher's story read.

Boucher posted the Instagram story after a photo was published by CityNews showing the 6-foot-9 forward at Loblaws grocery shopping.

Despite the team testing negative for the COVID-19 virus, the team has been in mandated self-quarantine since Wednesday night when Utah Jazz centre Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus.
